TEEN CHOICE 2016 TM, the summer’s hottest show is back with a brand new wave of nominees! “Pretty Little Liars” leads the television category with six nods, followed by “The Vampire Diaries” with five. FOX’s EMPIRE earned four, and SCREAM QUEENS, “Jane the Virgin” and “The Flash” each received three nominations. ”Captain America: Civil War” and “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” lead the TEEN CHOICE 2016 film category with four nominations each. Musical artists Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber round out the music category tied with three nominations each. Host(s), performers, presenters and additional nominees will be announced soon.
Additionally, teens flocked to social media earlier this month to vote on the TEEN CHOICE 2016 surfboard design, revealing the final look and logo of this summer’s choicest show. Check it out here.
Voting is officially open via TeenChoice.com, the FOX NOW app and Twitter. Starting today through Thursday, June 2 at 12:00 PM PT, fans can vote once each day per category, per platform user ID, for their favorite TEEN CHOICE 2016 Wave One nominees. Vote via Twitter by tweeting a category hashtag (please see below) with the nominees name (either @nominee or if the nominee does not have a Twitter account use #nominee). You may only vote for one Teen Choice nominee per Tweet.
